As a committed Colorado green hotel, we realize that the decisions we make as an organization affect not just the environment of the Hotel, but also that of the community. In an attempt to improve our environmental efforts, St Julien has formed a Green Committee, whose goal is to spearhead efforts that will reduce the Hotel’s footprint on the community – all while maintaining the high level of service and quality sought by our guests. St Julien Hotel & Spa also works together with the City of Boulder towards the goal of Zero Waste.

From our signature Canyon Mint amenities to finely maintained linens and thoughtfully curated in-room essentials, items are retired only when they no longer meet our exacting Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star standards. When that moment comes, they are not discarded, but thoughtfully extended into continued service—supporting local shelters, nonprofits, and community partners.
In 2025 alone, over 6,000 pounds of goods were donated, finding renewed purpose through organizations such as Clean The World and local outreach programs.
